Washington State Win Vs UNLV

Was looking easy early. UNLV made it almost interesting in the end. They had their chances.



I looked in early - took my som to the airports- checked in for the end when I got back from the airport.

ESPN kept running an ad promoting big-time games this weekend



ND Vs Michigan State

Texas

Etc

And BYU vs Utah



EXPOSURE



That ranking next to BYU put us on the list

I think the ESPN in our contract and the game being on ESPN helped put the BYU game into the promos more tan their ranking.

Yeah - an unranked Y vs an unranked U up there on a list of games featuring ranked teams would have gotten the same EXPOSURE

Agree that having the games on ESPN face a huge assist.

You honestly think ESPN wouldn't be promoting this game just as vigorously if BYU was unranked? It's not like this is a last-minute add to the broadcast schedule, and I think ESPN has the same interest in getting people watching the game regardless of ranking. If anything, the ranking made it easier for ESPN to promote what they were going to promote anyway.



And BTW for those giving kudos to the BYU-ESPN deal--this game is being broadcast as part of the PAC-12 deal since it's an away game.
