I smell blow out. Not a huge blow out, but a decisive win that will have the Utes accepting their fate by the end of the third quarter. Something like a 17 to 24 point spread. On the other side of the coin, if we lose the turn over margin by two or more, then it could be a nail-biter. But I do not believe that scenario is likely. I respect their ability to play against our ground game, but they will have to put six guys in the box to do it. Even if they shut down the run, BYU's OL can pass protect well enough that Nelson will be able to get the ball out to the flats, use option plays, not to mention short crossing routes by, ---Drum roll please--- number 82. Yeah, on top of an otherwise balanced offensive threat, I think that the re-emergence of BYU's TE receiving game spells doom for the Utes. The lack of Cougar TE production may have been the equalizing factor for the Utes the last two years, with the added disaster factor of Heaps turnovers last season. 50% of the Cougar drives may end in punts, but I think that BYU will own the time of possession battle, and can pin 35 points on them, and that they will not be able to exceed 18. The Utes will progress from shock and disbelief of BYU's defensive speed, to despair and hopelessness before game's end.
Of course, I do not know everything. But that is my predicton.
