5. oklahoma state University. Any team that scores half as many points in game two as game one is worthy of consideration for Bottom Five honors...But to beat Up Savannah State 84-0 and then lose to the University of arizona merits recognition--and the cowbUtts did in style, racking up 15 penalties for 167 yards!
4. Unlv rUbles. For the second year in a row the rUnning rebels lose to an FCS school. This time northern arizona beat them 17-14. As embarrasing as that was, please see #3.
3. University of colorado bUffalows. This team lost to csU last week (who then proceeded to lose to north dakota state) and then lost to sacramento state. As embarrassing as that was, please see #2.
2. University of arkansas. Favored by 30 they lost to LoUsiana Monroe. I think a certain Mr. Smith, who also declared bankrUptcy last week owing millions of dollars in real estate ventures, is thinking he'd rather have lost to BYU 45-13 where he was coaching Weber State until he bailed on them for little rock.
1. Oogieloves and the Big Ballon VentUre. Worst movie opening in history deserves number one this week. Movie opened in 2,100 screens and grossed $445,000. That means if each theater showed the movie five times a day on one screen, at a ticket price of $7, then there were fewer than 2 people per showing...Sort of like the Huntsman Center last season....(and by the way, who is that one person in the theater all by himself watching this movie?!?)
Honorable mention Savannah State lost last week to Oklahoma State 84-0. They followed that up with a 55-0 loss at Florida State in a game that was called in the middle of the third quarter on weather concerns. Team is consistent. In both games it gave up an average of 1.4 points per minute. But there is a silver lining..Savannah State received $850,000 for the two games, which is more than what the Oogieloves got! Go Savannah! Beat the Oogieloves!
Another shoUt oUt to Uw coach Sarkisian for bringing a tiger to practice to get his team ready to play the lsU tigers. Didn't work. Team still lost 41-3. Question: when Uw plays Usc, just what will coach Sarkisian bring to practice to get his team ready? ;)
