Eastern Washington with a chance to beat Washington State. Down by 4 with the ball and 1:30 left in the game. I think we can say with certainty that Leach has not yet made as much of an impact as some of us (me included) thought. Washington State is still bad. In other news Colorado lost to Sacramento State on a last second field goal.

EWU also outgained WSU 469 to 355 in total yards. Lots of work to be done up in Pullman.

Oregon St. beat a very down, very different-from-last-year Wisconsin team and Wash. St. held on for the win. Good things for our SOS are happening this weekend.

Go Colorado! Losing to that powerhouse, Sacramento St! Colorado and Utah belong together in the PAC-None. Both have difficulty winning their OOC games.

Their are huge shifts up and down in PAC over the years and especially this year - teams rising and teams falling



USC - rising slightly - Top 3

Oregon - slipping slightly - Top 4

Stanford - still ranked, but looking shaky - Top 20

UCLA - rising like a meteor - Utah no longer ranked 2nd in South Division - Top 25

Arizona - rising from the Abyss - Top 25

ASU - rising a bit - ranked right next to BYU - BYU is #30

OSU - rising from the Abyss - ranked #34

UW - Still receiving votes in latest poll - but dropping due to stupid scheduling

U - slipping quite a bit - no longer receiving votes

CAL - dropping like a rock

WSU - slipping ever so slightly

Colorado - cementing its place at the bottom



The net result of all this shifting is that 7 of the Top 35 Teams in the latest USA Today Poll are PAC 12 teams and 8 PAC teams are still receiving votes.



BYU could go 3-0 Vs PAC teams ranked 7th, 8th, and 11th in PAC - just the kind of teams BYU should be playing.
