Podcast: Wash St. Review, Weber St. Preview, Mars

The latest CougarCorner podcast is now available to the readers of CougarCorner.com.



It features the best experts in the country talking about Cougar football (and I'm there too). We talk about the Washington State game, giving incredibly detailed insights and information that you probably didn't know before.



We look ahead to the Weber State game with some surprising facts and information about the wildkittens to the North. We also talk about who should play and when. This is very valuable information, Bronco, so make note of it!



Finally we talk a little about Utah State and Utah and their upcoming rivalry game, as well as talk about the toughest games we will face this season and why.



This podcast is one that you will not want to miss, especially if you remember the history between Mars and Schmoe! :evil:

I like to think of this episode as "The one where I call Schmoe a d-bag, compliment Hawkwing's wife, growl like a kitty, insult the PAC-10.2, tell SDSU that they suck, talk like a blue-hair, and learn the basics of podcasting from two actual professionals".

1st time I've ever listened to a cougarcorner podcast and I say well done.



Is this the same Mars that said that milk was poisonous, austin collie was a dbag; he should break a leg and that underclassmen only meant freshmen, etc. etc. etc.? The man must have turned over a new leaf, because (other than the constant saying everyone sucks...not really very clever) his insight was honestly great when it came to the cougars and the actual football play.



You guys hit on nearly every talking point.. there were times you'd talk about the offense and I'd say to myself, "but blair tushaus was awful in the running game" and then someone would say it. (btw I'll take it from blair anyhow because there wasnt' a single off sides or botched snap.) Each and every concern I had about the game and each and every vital talking point felt addressed.



It was enjoyable and much more enlightening than I expected. Nice job guys, I'll try to listen to more.

Nice job, guys. Good listen. Not only informative and entertaining, but kept me alert while trying to make it through a midday Friday.



I like the idea of running CougarCorner ads on the new LES monitors. Anyone know how much the ads run? Can't imagine it's too much.



Someone with connections needs to get Brono to call into the next show. Course that may mean Mars will have to keep the ringer on his phone up...

Just make sure the ads aren't like a strobe light with lightning on them like the ones in the last game. I can just see it now..."Wide open Hoffman suffers seisure due to CC ad on the new video ribbon while he was looking up to catch a td on the last play of the game. Cougars lose by 5. Hoffman said to be recovering well."

Few things I would like to hear discussed:

1 - BYU offense vs. Utah defense.

2 - A run down of just how well athletically superior Pac12 teams perform vs. non BCS no-talents.

3 - Now that the church has finally announced caffeinated beverages are not evil, ending one of the longest standing EQ debates, does this mean LES patrons will at last be able to buy a Dr. Pepper?

To drink DP at games my friends and I would stop by the local convenience store, fill our 64 oz cups, and haul them up with us.



I heard somewhere the only reason BYU doesn't have DP and its caffeinated cousins - Mr. Pib, Cherry Coke, and Mt. Dew - is due only to demand. Someone in Provo needs to start a petition ASAP. Can't believe there aren't enough DP fans to warrant a DP fountain somewhere on campus.
