haven't been very impressed with a single team I've seen.

Time to call it what it really is: The PAC 2. Yeah, Stanford had some Luck for a couple years, but now the PAC is back to one good team in the north, one good team in the south, and a bunch of also-rans who would be competing for second and third in the MWC this season.

I'm expecting the same thing from the Pac-12 as I usually do. 2 really good teams, 2-4 teams ranging from good to mediocre, and 6 or so bad teams who will suffer at least one catastrophic loss but will somehow pull a shocking win out of nowhere.



No disrespect intended to the Utes- I think they're one of the PAC-12's better teams. I just feel like, of all the power conferences, the PAC-12 has the most populated cellar.

I've watched the whole thing, hawaii is ATROCIOUS, especially QB play. I'd say the utes have a decent shot at taking down USC this year.

Hawaii has settled down and scored in their last 2 possessions. USC D WAS looking good though.

I'm watching AZ struggle against Toledo. They look horrible. I wonder how Rich Rod and Robert Anie will work out together???



Oregon and USC will be really good, WA and Utah will be solid, and maybe UCLA and Cal will improve. Everyone else looks weak.

What an opportunity. BYU 2-1 Vs PAC in 2011. But for the U meltdown - could have been 3-0.



2012. 1-0 so far. 2-1 is almost certain. 3-0 could happen.



We should play every PAC team that is willing to play home and away.



It makes them look stupid re some of their recent choices. CSU beat Colorado today. They picked the wrong rival for U.

Will CSU and Colorado continue to play? Or is the PAC12 trying to put an end to that rivalry tradition as well?

I don't think the pac-12 shut the BYU/utah rivalry down. That is all the utah chickens' doing. They are simply afraid of playing BYU, which is ridiculous because even with a loss, they are able to play for pac-12 championship. The utes are chickens.

Yep. The PAC 10.2 was a big reason why we're playing the game earlier in the season. But not continuing to play it on a permanent basis is all Utah. Their thinking is, they have a tough enough conference schedule and they don't want to also have to deal with a tough, emotional rivalry game.

I admit that Colorado to the PAC is a poor choice (football wise) compared to BYU, but they did beat the :utard: last year, and you have to love them for that.

The Pac 2 sucks and has for going on 5-6 years now. Even Cal has fallen pretty fall these days. Stanford was an upset queen a few seasons ago and then with Luck they became a media darling. Now, they are nothing. USC and Oregon are really good teams but the rest of the conference is BS. I actually believe Utah is at the top of the 2nd tier in the Pac because of their defense.
