BYULVA Rep for the Poinsettia Bowl was at the game Thursday night and addressed the cougar club before the game. In a sea of white shirts he stood out in his bright red blazer. As he got up to speak he apologized for the jacket, claiming it was "poinsettia red" and not crimson. Then he tore the blazer off and dumped it on the floor behind him where it stayed the rest of the night, and put on a white BYU game day T-shirt.
His comments were interesting, but nothing earth shattering. They sound really excited to get BYU back to San Diego. They worry that BYU gets too good this season and gets a BCS invite, foregoing the Poinsettia Bowl. He commented that 4 members of the poinsettia bowl Board are LDS. He didn't say how many members on the board total.
