toughest game this year

Watching nd dismantle what will probably be an ok navy team has me convinced of two things:



1. ND is a legit top 20 team. I don't know if they will be ranked there when we play them due to their uber tough schedule, but make no mistake, they are a very good team.



2. They are without a doubt the best team we play this year. By far.

Have always thought such. I don't get the notion of Utah being our toughest game. Come on guys, don't give the Utes that much respect.

This is what I've been saying and watching the games this weekend definitely confirms it (unless GT impresses and wins handily at VT). Boise St. is on a downswing, they're inexperienced and sloppy. The Utes? Sure, they'll get up for the game, but they have lots of problems on offense, not a balanced team at all.

utah is our toughest game because of the rivalry and because utah is in our heads. BYU has taken teams that were clearly better than utah and barely squeaked out wins, utah takes teams like last year and blows us out by 44 points. ND is a good team but in reality is our second toughest game behind utah. Having said that, BYU's defense is going to keep us in every game this year, it will be up to the offense to make it happen.

There are two definitions of toughest here. One is best team and second who will give us the hardest game.

I'm of the opinion that both will be ND this year, but I've been wrong once or twice in my life, so it could happen again.

I agree - nd will be the team we play, and will be our toughest game.

ND will be the best, most talented team we play.

Utah will be the hardest game, bc @utah, they are in our heads, they always play with more vigor vs byu than other games they give away; and Utah might have the best defense we play which means they will shut down the run and Riley and then we might be in trouble.

I thought we settled this the Democratic way when we voted.



ND will be the best team. They will be our toughest game. They are far better than Utah. It is not close. A more complete team. It is a long trip. Different time zone. And that stadium and fan base are far more intimidating than Utah.



Due to ridiculous scheduling, ND will likely lose a few games lulling some into thinking they are not that good.



Don't be fooled. They are good.
