John Beck makes Houston roster

John Beck has officially made the Houston Texans. He beat out Case Keenum to make the roster.

Good for Beck.

Makes sense. Yates is still very young. You dont want 2 of 3 qbs with less than 2 yrs experience.



Beck played well against the Vikings. Great pass with two defenders in his fact. Receiver made a nice move to break 2 tackles and turned it into an 80-yard TD.

In the final preseason game, Beck completed 6 of 10 passes, doesn't seem that impressive until you see that those 6 passes went for 149 and a touchdown.

Great news. Hopefully Kehl gets picked up somewhere.

Kehl was great for the Skins this preseason, I'm starting to get convinced that Shannahan doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground.

I was really surprised that Kehl was released after leading the team time after time in tackles in the preseason.

Tough week for Unga, M. Reynolds, Nixon, Fangupo too....McKay J. next?
