Slow start? Not this year

It just occurred to me that in this game, we scored nearly as many points on offense in this game as we did in the first 3 games of last year. 7 @ Ole Miss, 16 @ Texas, 10 vs. Utah, for a total of 33. And we could have had more - a lot more. With better blue zone execution, this game would have been 49-6...



Looks like we knocked the rust off real quick. :)

Not exactly. Scheduling helps next week. But we could go 2-2. That wouldn't be a fast start. But probably 3-1 or 4-0 then I think we can declare not a slow start.

We don't know how bad WSU defense was. But the Offense does show some needs for at least moderate improvement. Glad so many things were working, but I wouldn't say t was a fast start for the offense except when compared to a very slow start last year and the year before.

I'm comparing to our average of 14.5 PPG under Bronco in openers. Not making any statement about how many early wins we get.
