2012 Season: Underpromised? Understated? Underrated?

As well, better conditioning, fewer injuries and only minor ones. Well rested and recovered players and better overall depth than in any season I can remember ( one very important key to BCS contenders)



Could the tables have turned for the first time in several, if not many seasons? Has the polarity shifted from over promising (even if implicitly) to under-promising and understating? That's half the battle! And could be a much better set up for OVER-DELIVERING??



Knowing you have something special without revealing that or setting caught up in the hubris, haughty, and hype....Just some things to think about during an under-hyped hype week.

Yep, something is definitely cooking. And to me, the lack of hype combined with the lack of media access is the evidence.

Hype? This is our deepest team ever. The best BYU defense in a decade. The most athletic defensive backs under Bronco. The lightest, strongest offensive linemen. The best linebacking core in school history. Some of the school's tallest and most athletic receivers. A very deep RB core. Plenty of "talent" at TE. 4 returning senior DLs. All with a senior QB and "the best QB coach in the country" (Doman). Sprinkle some Hoffman and Van Noy on top for seasoning.



Let's roll.
