Are we recruiting this kid?

Canton Kaumatule** DE 6-7/260 Punahou (Honolulu, Hawaii) Undecided



I found this on a list of the top football players for 2012. Anybody know anything about him? Is BYU recruiting him? Looks like he's just a sophomore this year. Stanford has already offered him.

His brother LUke is a 2012 Stanford commit. I assume we recrut Canton, who is a 2014 prospect, ut bet he follow bis brother to Stanford.

Maybe President Obama (Punahou Alum) could give him a call on our behalf after he wins easily in Utah. Oops. I wonder if Mitt Romney has any connections there. Maybe Manti Teo (Punahou Alum) could ring him up for us after we beat Notre Dame. Steve or Ed Case.



Is he LDS? If so - is he commuting to Punahou from Kahuku area or living in Manoa area? In other words, I could visit his Ward Sunday if it is nearby.

What chapel is not nearby on Oahu? ;) I think the furthest drive is Kahuku to Hawaii Kai but still only about an hour as long as the tourists aren't out taking pics of the Hawaiian telephone poles. Come to think of it, Sunday driving is defined on Sundays in Hawaii!
