If we beat Wash. St. by more than 10 points, someone on the other board will predict we will destroy Utah by at least 3 touchdowns.

If we lose to Wash. St., someone on the other board will predict our season is over.

If Alisa runs for more than 100 yards, someone on the other board will predict he should be in the Heisman race for top 3 by end of season.

If Nelson gets sacked more than once, someone on the other board will predict that our OL is going to cause us to miss out on a BCS bowl game.

If Wash. St. scores on a deep bomb, someone on the other board will say our DBs are never going to be good enough to compete with BCS teams.

There will be plenty of new Freshmen students who wear random preppy colors who will disenfranchise the true blue fans.

Popcorn on the Apricot tree will never receive the guitar riff it so desperately deserves at a BYU game.

A "fan" near you will ask what a first down is.

Ok, it's your turn. Feel free to add your own odds. I reference the "other board" because I am certain no one on here would make huge assumptions after only one game. ;)

Fans will be calling for lark or hill to replace riley by game 4 or earlier.

I've already predicted a win over Utah by 3 touchdowns   ;)

We'll beat Utah by 30+ but only because Bronco is a gentleman.

ALISA for Heisman.

Nelson for Heisman.

BYU to a BCS Bowl.

13-0

National Championship

Big 12 invitation

The season hasn't started yet, I can still have unrealistic expectations.

There will be more Twinkies stopped at the gate by LES security than hand guns.

The band will continue its practice of playing over the referee announcing a replay ruling.

Football will remain first for KWhitt.

30 new MLM companies will be started in Provo this fall with hopes of one day sponsoring the new jumbotrons at LES.

Jake Heaps will look good running the Kansas scout team offense.

BYU will have more Pac 12 victories this year than six members of the Pac 12.

The new LED ribbons will be devoted 95% to advertising and 5% to game related graphics.

If BYU doesn't win against WSU at home, season ticket holders will abandon their seats. Bronco will let the "fans" know he's displeased.

Someone on the other board will complain of a lack of tailgating even though they themselves have never nor will ever tailgate.

Cheerleaders will carry around a sign that says, "Noise," sparking less-experienced fans to yell, "NOISE!"

If BYU is up by more than 2 touchdowns against WSU in the 4th quarter fans in the stadium will start doing the Wave. Someone on the other board will complain about "fans" doing the Wave and label them "Utes."
G

There will be more timeouts during the game than scores by both teams combined.

A BYU receiver will drop a deep pass

The game announcers will spend half the game talking about conference realignment and rumors about BYU joining the Big East, the Big 12 or the Pac 12.

David Foote will average more yards per carry than any other BYU running back

Cody Hoffman will catch a TD pass

A BYU tight end will get injured in the game

Riley Nelson will high five the official after a touchdown

There's some pretty funny odds you guys are bringin'. We might have to set up a vote for the favorite afterwards.

Chances are good that after BYU starts 2-0, the national title talk will be cranking up....

Chances are good that after BYU starts 4-0, BYU fans will think that this is hte best BYU team EVER....

Odds are that RN cuts his hair before the 5th game are slim and none.

BYU defense with finish in the top 10 in total defense with 300 yards allowed per game and top ten in scoring defense with 17 points allowed per game.

BYU offense will average 34 points/game and 420 yards of total offense/game.

Riley will complete 60% of his passes for 2800 yards, 27 TDs and 10 interceptions.

Once I was at a game with a stupid "bro" in front of me trying to make lots of comments to impress all the women around him as if he knew what he was talking about (oh wait, I guess that's every game...). Anyway, we were killing the other team, and Max Hall threw one pick and he began shouting "Put in Riley Stephenson! Put in Stephenson!", over and over for multiple downs. Finally I just said to him, "Riley Stephensen in the kicker dude, Riley Nelson is the back up quaterback." Thankfully, that ended his stupid commentary for at least that game anyway as everyone around him realized he had no idea what he was talking about.

Odds are...

half of the "fans" will enjoy and come for the 3rd quarter videos with Cosmo more than the actual game.

half of the "fans" around you will ask you what our record is and if we are ranked or not.

we will get screwed over by at least one horrible officiating call in our opening game.

Jimmer will show up out of nowhere for at least one game and drain a 3 from the 50 yard line. Then the "fans" around you will ask who he is...

Odds are after accomplishing this we will still have several fans complaining that our defense cannot defend against the pass and sucks at tackling.

Some fan will be psyched that he got some legacy seats for a deal on KSL, then be disappointed when all the blue hairs around him ask him to "keep it down."

Freshman girls who have way better seats than they deserve will ask the rabid true blue fans behind them to "tone it down." The fans will then heckle the girls until they cry and leave.

J-dawgs will be an awesome pre- and post-game meal, and will be awesome even if it's not game day.

Michael Alisa will be the second coming of Harvey Unga.

Away games will be awesome in the Cougar Cave because of good company and smoked meats.

Odds are po_pocoug says AT LEAST one cuss word during the first game.. Offending those around him..

Odds are opening game will have less than 60,000 fans..

Odds are most of those fans show up at the 2nd qtr and leave by the end of the 3rd qtr..

No matter what happens against the first WSU, we skunk the other WSU (Weber St.) the following week.

If that happens, Ute Fans will troll and talk trash about how lame we are to play Weber St. and then remind us of the score last year against Utah. We shall quietly sit and wait and hope we skunk the Utes for 2 shutouts in consecutive games.

If that happens, we will hear a collective jubilant cheer throughout all of Cougardom, all of it's sports forums and boards, and throughout the Beehive state.

If we merely win barely against the Utes, we will hear a collective sigh of relief in the same regions heretofore identified.

If we commit 1 or less turnovers against opponent this year, we will win the game.

The majority of fans will be pleased with the overall intensity, effort, and execution of the team this year if the scoreboard looks good.

The BYU defense will cause at least 3 QBs on opposing teams to miss signficant minutes in future games.

If you are reading this right now, you are probably at work and feeling bored.
