Of the BYU game listed, which is the easiest?

This is the final "easiest" poll question. After this one, we'll be picking the least difficult as the games will get tougher and tougher. Hawaii was the runaway winner of the previous poll question.

Here's how the schedule looks from most to least difficult so far:

Utah St, and its not even close. Should be #10 under SJSU and UH.

Actually, I think it is closely contested between USu and OSU.

The Bibster took OSU being heavily swayed by the last two seasons.

I went with OSU. Almost went with USU but then remembered they like to think they are our "new" rival so they'll come out as geared up as they can be.

Nah. right after correcting last years Yewt game debacle is a Riley that wants to put a nail in that usu coffin and send another statement that last year was not a fluke comeback. Without their big 2 nfl picks this team resembles more of an Aggie team. They will play well for awhile, maybe 1 or 2 quarters and the our D will rip them a new one. Back-up qb will be playing by 4th quarter

USU is the better team, even with the loss of their all-time tackler and all-star running back to the NFL.

Seriously, do people not remember that Utah State has almost beaten us twice in 2 years, and that we beat OSU on their home turf by an easy 10 points last year, and 14 in 2009 Vegas Bowl?

That was a 24 point win in 2009 against OSU. And it wasn't even that close.

I tend to agree. USU doesn't have their Player of the Game that they've enjoyed for the last 2 years when playing BYU, he already transferred to KU.

BYU should beat both USU and Oregon State by more than they did last year, but USU was the closer game then and likely will again. They still do have Kerwyn Williams.

Utah St has got up to play us the last couple of years, they think they can do it too. Oregon's win last year was a fluke. We shouldn't have beat them so badly. This year will be closer.

I'm going with Georgia Tech because Bronco has good experience and results defending the triple option

Does anyone really believe that if you lined up the aggies against the beavers at a neutral site this year the the aggies would win?

No way the usu game is tougher than the OSU game.

We aren't talking about last year, we are talking about this year. USU lost their best players to graduation/NFL - off a wrecking crew of a team that managed to win some "tough" games at the end of the year including a 3-point W vs. New Mexico St, and a 7 point W against Idaho. But still managed to lose their 1st bowl game in forever to the Mighty Fightin' Bobcats. Take the best players off of THAT team and tell me that they would have a prayer against even a low-level Pac team.

Everyone is just remembering our game with USU last year, and not thinking critically about the actual team. USU caught us with our pants down last year, with a QB who was wildly ineffective, and a team that had no identity and was divided. If we had played them later in the year last year, it would have been a VERY different game. And had we played OSU early in the year last year, we probably would have lost.

I don't expect either game to be particularly close, but I think that OSU might just give us a bit of a game, but the aggies will not.

I am of the opinion that this early in the season, all you can really go on is the previous year's results. That certainly makes it tough with so much turnover from year to year.

It's kind of silly to get so bent out of shape about how some fans may disagree with you on their conclusions based on so little real information.

I think you are significantly overestimating how good Oregon State was last year.

Let's not forget - on fluke on-sides kick play kept USU from beating Auburn on the road. They lost another heartbreaker like that to CSU or someone like that. And then the tipped pass reception got BYU past them at the gun.

They were that close to being a 10 win team.

This year should be different. Should be. But the last two were unexpected.

USU has 7 or 8 players from Florida. They can take on projects and 2nd chances that BYU can not or will not. Kind of like U. They always seem to be able to pick up RBs and DBs like fruit from a tree. We will have to see how USU has filled their holes. They are an improving program.

USU has two good QBs. They will most likely not be a powerhouse, nor were they they the last two years. But they might be decent.

Keep in mind USU just takes a short bus ride and they are here. They will have some loyal fans in attendance. They play here all of the time. They have friends on the team. It is all familiar to them.

OSU could have a little jet lag. Our secret weapon - altitude - could get to them unless someone tells them our secret. They may be distracted by the mountains or Cougar Tails. It happens. USU players likely already have had Cougar Tail. And USU will be more motivated - Riley Nelson and last year factors.

But you could take USU, OSU, AZ, SJSU, etc., and throw them on neutral fields and toss coins. They would all win some and lose some.

Especially if the neutral field was at high altitude.
