Both LB Coaches Popinga and Tidwell indicate they have LBs 9 deep and they are comfortable playing any of them. Sounds like we are going to always have fresh bodies out on the field creatin havoc which should translate into stingy D that creates turnovers and gives us good field position. Like perspective from former OSU LB Uani Unga (currently on 2 deep). He has never seen anything like it (even compared to PAC12 competition).

Alot of "promising" to be sure. But OSU is his comparison??

My biggest worry is KVN''s shoulder. I know he was cleared, but what is the re-injury incident rate on his type of injury? But fortunately, to the point, we have some good depth.

What I hope to emphasize is that the coaches are going to put the best athletes on the field any given game day irrespective of position. This means that we could see some very unique alignments based upon the opponents O strengths. Bronco has the luxury of playing a 2-4-5 or 2-5-4 against pass-happy teams or loading the box against run-oriented teams. The skill positions can be used very creatively and effectively.
