Greater Depth at LB Than Expected

We all heard about how our retruning starters (seniors Ogletree and Keveinga) with KVN and Spencer Hadley would be a formidable group. Now Tidwell is stating that he may play up to 8-9 players given the depth and talent that we have. He mentioned that Fua, Zac Stout, Tyler Beck and Austen Jorgensen have logged the most time with the 2s through six days of camp, but Manoa Pikula and Uani Unga are both right there making their own bids to appear on the two-deep roster. Throw in Ziggy at DE (backing up Ian Dulan) and we have an awesome group that should raise havoc with the QB and RBs.

He also mentioned Butch Pauu and Rhett Sandlin as two stand-out freshmen that are really good players but not exactly needed this season, though they will be in their career.

I thought it was going to be our deepest spot, and it is clear that it is. IF BYU can recruit for a position, this is the one. Not surprised at all.
