Carlos Lozano?

The Utes have a new O-line man. Carlos Lozano 6'7" 425 lbs.

Is he an effective monster line man, or a guy that will have a heart attack in the 4th quarter? He looked pretty out of breath in this interview. Just curious on other peoples take of this curious :utard: pick up.

425-lbs is way too big to be an effective football player. Sorry, he doesn't worry me.

Yeah, looks like even walking is somewhat laborious for him, I don't think he'll be a difference-maker.

The Utes have been down in the OL. Maybe Whit has come up with the great idea of having one guy be both the RG and the RT--at the same time!?

He is a project for sure. But if they can get him down to 365 at that height, he could play.



Utah has more Oline players in the NFL than we do now.

Rivals has him at 6'8" 360. I'm surprised he showed up at 450. :bug:



He had offers from 5 other D1 schools so there must be something there. Marc Pouvave, the other JC Tackle, blew his Achilles. He was the one I wanted to see play.

At 425 lbs, he alone boosts the Ute's OL weight average so that it is on par with the rest of the PAC 12. That is the only reason he is on the roster. (TIC)

Lozano has his work cut out for him. In my opinion he’s the 5th option for a tackle spot right now.
