Poll: Margin of Victory

Will UNM sniff the endzone? How many TD drives will Hall lead before coming out? How many scores will BYU's defense get? Can the spread be set high enough for a game like this? And, no, UNM winning is not an option this week. And FYI, the poll SHOULD end at game time... :D

I think we take the foot off the gas a little, maybe Riley comes in sooner? But then again, maybe Bronco wants a little revenge on behalf of Rocky?

Revenge? I understood that Rocky bailed on the team, (firing himslef?) claiming that it was obvious that he couldn't get the team any better than mediocre. Am I remembering the situation wrong?

There have been quite a few comments over the season from both Rocky and Bronco about how the school administration and fans had stopped supporting Rocky, and felt they could do better without him.

OK that makes sense. I figured I was missing something. I just wonder how I could miss such scintillating news from exciting New Mexico! :roll: :whistle:

With the 4th vote this week, I'll man up and be the first to pick 50+. Hall will be pulled sooner, and Unga will be used sparingly if at all, but our defense will put us in good position throughout the game and Nelson will complete a couple passes along with leading a successful running charge.

Of course this is true, the team has a lot of fight in them... oh wait that was the HC punching his assistant coach. Thank heavens for UNM womens soccer or they wouldn't be any nastiness on the field at all.

I like us to come out flat after last week, where the team had something to prove. They know they will win easy and will not be as sharp. But I like us easy.

As of right now, exactly half the voters think UNM keeps it within 5 TDs. I believe the spread is currently set at 26. Ironically, the spread for the TCU-Utah game is currently set at 20.



0-8 team vs #22 (separated by about 90 positions) = 26 point spread

#16 vs #4 (separated by 12 positions) = 20 point spread



Something tells me one of these is either way too high, or the other one way too low...

Bronco and the word revenge don't belong in the same sentence. He would never let himself be motivated by something so "low."



Also I heard, don't you love that "i heard", that Rocky left voluntarily because he knew how bad the team was going to be this year and wanted to jump ship before it sank.
