BYU basketball has officially offered a pair of 2014 prospects, Roy High's 6-9 Brekkott Chapman and Orem High's Dalton Nixon. Per Jay Drew

BrandonCGurney BYU just offered Payton Dastrup, LOL...offering a lot of kids today .

just spoke with Dastrup and he's excited...puts BYU in his top 5 along with UVA, USU, ASU and Arizona

BrandonCGurney BYU has also offered Luke Worthington...6-8 prospect from Wisconsin...will work to learn more on him

Even more interesting news is the comment from Dalton that

Nixon and Chapman may be a packaged deal...both are very close and would love to play with each other (on same team) in college.

Didn't realize that Payton Dastrup is friends with Jabari Parker, is playing against him in this weeks LV tourney, and has family members that live in Utah Valley. Seems like he would be a natural fit and like the connection with JP.

I would love to see us consistently picking up top 100 LDS recruits.

We already are picking up Top 100 LDS recruits. Who was the last national LDS recruit Rose missed on?

Is that the kid that played at North Carolina last year and just left on his mission (I think). That's who I was thinking of.

ESPN had Stillman White as a 1-star #159 PG in 2011 class.

ESPN had Bo Barnes as the #329 SG in 2010.
