Is BSU's 2013 (our new rival) class better?

Scout has our class as #43 and BSU at #47 but we have 19 recruits and they have 9.

First of all I think it's way too early to make any kind of judgment on it but if I'm going to bother looking at those things I look more at the Ave.Star Rating of a team's recruits for that reason.



I'd rather have 2 or 3 4-Star guys than a dozen 2-Star guys and Scout and Rivals both give weight to the sheer number of recruits in their rankings.

Well we have one 4 and four 3's. They have seven 3's. And there seems to be a few recruits we both have gone after.

So - let's try to answer the question with easy math



BYU has 4 recruits out of what was it 17 or 19 at 3+

BSU has 7 of 9 at 3+



So by math even if BSU fills the rest of their class with 100% 2 star - they get the edge.

But we are higher ranked. . . I know I know. Maybe we should offer their recruits after they offer them. Steal a few to build our class and weaken theirs.
