There's a rather subtle and important distinction in that article. The lists he used now and in 2007 when he first did this include only BCS conference schools. He's lumping BYU in with the BCS conferences. It may only be one writer doing so, but it is sports illustrated and people read BYU as being included as a BCS school.



Would we have been included if we had stayed in the MWC? :sick:

I saw this the other day. It was interesting to note that BSU, BYU, U, and TCU have all risen to a similar level of recognition according to the author.



So much for U supremacy.



But clearly, even though BYU has risen into the ranks of BCS teams like UW, it is also clear that U, BSU, and TCU closed the gap and caught BYU and still have momentum.



BYU has not slipped backwards - a few others have shot forward faster.



Time for BYU to fire the booster rockets.

I thought the list was odd.



Some of his knights are really peasants; ools like Ole Miss, NC State, Illinois, Virginia.



Some of his barons are probably knights; schools like UCLA and Clemson.
