Game is on ABC 1:30 MST. National tv baby. Let's take it to them. They should beat WSU this week to stay undefeated.

Re: BYU-Oregon State game on ABC (regional), BYU says "plans for additional distribution of the game will be announced at a later date."

This one will go down as a marquee win against a ranked opponent. Our win, and the blackout will both look good on national tv. Our defense will shut them down, and our offense will do enough to put up some points and come out with the W. I'm feelin it baby!!! Take care of USU and then keep the momentum against the Beavs. Boo-yah!

We have started as 3.5 point favorite. I am surprised but that is respect against the #10 team.

Oregon St is overrated. Their offense is average. We'll hold them to under 17 points and win.

If WSU can hold them to under 20 we will keep them to 7 or less. Unless RN helps them.

We need to hold them to under 7 points. And we might do it if we take care of ball security. I know Riley put up some points on them last year - but his health is questionable even though I saw him throwing warmups on target from the 40 into the endzone pre-game and at the half Friday.



I believe our pass protection will be worse than it was in 2011 and OSU QB is probably better than when we played them in his 2nd start or so.



But this game is in our house - and un spite of the made up boredom story posted today - our crowd will help our defense stop at least one drive. OSU will not run against us.



It will all boil down to their QB and our OL and QB. If we are even mediocre on offense - our defense will win this one.



Have the feeble and faint bundle up in case it is cold, rainy, or snowy.



Their was frost on the lawn this morning - still there at 9:00AM.



Cold and Altitude could help us too - If we practice in it.

I expect our improved passing game to get us to 14 points. I hope the defense can hold OSUU under 10.

The Beavers haven't EARNED a #10 ranking because the experts felt sorry for them! The team EARNED it by beating three consecutive ranked teams, two on the road! No matter whether Wisconsin is as good as they were last year or not, the Badgers are considered a perennnial powerhouse of college football and the Beavs "stuffed" 'em!

Honestly, I think the issues with the special teams will be drawing a lot of attention this week, and I expect to see marked improvement. So the above is really tic.



I think the fact the Cougars are favored is out of respect for the Cougar "D". My belief is that the offense will find its stride, and we'll see a well-played game. I did get really tired of reading all of the doom and gloom after last week's win. It was a great, exciting game that came down to the wire, and BYU did what they needed to do in order to come out with the victory. I would take another 6-3 victory over OSU. Just win! 8)

Black never looks good on TV, black is just black. And BYU fans are not going to go out any spend a few hundred thousand dollars to buy all black clothing--for one game. Black is not a bYU color, why are we wearing black? What's next, all pink? red? orange? IF we can wear black, why not any other color? Regardless, BYU will win this game, and not because they are wearing black. We will win because of our defense, and who knows, the offense just might catch fire one of these weeks.



I watched Stanford play Arizona--now there are a couple of impressive offenses. Remember Robert Anae? Stanford has a new, young QB who is very good. Is it not possible for BYU to throw the football successfully anymore? I don't get it.



...and OSU's QB is also out for the year. Our D will beat their D.

I have no doubts as to our defense.



But, it will take points to beat OSU and I have no faith in our offense, even with a "healthy" Riley at the helm.



Riley will be out there running around with a just healed fractured back. How many hits do you think that will withstand?



Pass protection has been an issue all season, so I don't expect Riley to be able to sit back and throw it or hand it off all game. Doman has no idea how to pass it anyways, so the offense will stall and to get it moving again we'll be back to QB running. Riley will get nailed and doubt he makes it past the 3rd quarter.



Lark will come in, and Doman will have no idea what to do with him.



If we can score 3 TDs, I like our odds. If not, we lose.

:roll: Really? you guys beat all. 2 bad passing games with a freshman QB straight off a mission and all of a sudden Doman has no idea how to call a passing offense?

So from these stats I would think Doman did pretty well in the passing game once a struggling heaps was sat. On a side note, notice how the guy who can't throw past 10 yards has a longer long throw than the guy with the cannon arm? Just a thought.
