Let's not pretend this happened in a vacuum. Michigan was just trying to avoid having to play a real PAC team as part of the BIG10-PAC12 series, and locking up Utah with a one-and-one gives them the PAC12 version of a cupcake and prevents the conference commissioners from sending them to USC one year and sending the Ducks to Ann Arbor the next. This was avoidance by Michigan more than anything.

Unless it was an attempt at revenge since the Utes kicked their cans in front of nearly 100,000 of their best fans.

Like any divorce, I fear that we, as a fan base, will have a hard time letting the ex go... I don't want us to be the crazy former spouse who calls and texts everyday, I want to let them go and hope the worst for them...

Ummm...we didn't get "played." No one was satisfied with the FrUtes explanation, they didn't trick us into or out of something, they just proved what we've known all along, that they're classless liars.
