I get the comparison to our second-year independent schedule versus the new-look MWC schedule. But wouldn't we rather have Notre Dame and Georgia Tech at the end of October instead of UNLV and Wyoming? And before the "November schedule" cries begin, are Idaho, NMSU, and SJSU really a step down from CSU, UNLV, and New Mexico (see 2010)? May be a little, but hardly.



It's 2013 that should get us excited for independence, with Boise State, Houston, and Georgia Tech in October and Notre Dame in November. That is a HUGE step up from the MWC days, and that's with 4-openings left on the schedule.
