Coug Coaches at All-Poly Camp

Several reports have revealed that the BYU coaches and graduate assistants were in full force at the All Poly camp and actively engaging/communicating, coaching and encouraging the players. Should pay dividends for recruiting and gaining confidence of the player's parents. However, haven't heard yet who they are targeting as a result of their visit.

Even if they are not targeting anyone they should be there.

Apparently there are some big OL/DL players that are catching there attention. More information to follow.

I think it is a mission of good will. Our poly pipeline has been slipping over the past decade or so. Mark Atuia is now stepping up efforts to improve relationships. Hopefully this will be beneficial now and over time.

BYU has more poly football players than 118 other I-A football teams.

Yes - but we once had a monopoly and now, although a major player in the cartel, have had to share the wealth a little more.



We are in very good shape and even though it seems the Kahuku and La'ie pipeline in particular is blocked - fact is - there has been less talent in that pool lately, at least partially to some of those families moving to So. Cal, Utah, Las Vegas, etc.



Kahuku still contends for Hawaii State Championship pretty much every year, but even in Hawaii, there is actually competition that has a legitimate chance most years.
