Max, Jan MWC Players of the Week

Dalton is good, but I wasn't that impressed with his numbers, most offensive Qs do that weekly. Might as well share that with unlv's Q, Unga, and other players



The MWC makes itself look stupid when they try and follow trends, if TCU is ranked high we'd better give them something, they do that for Utah and BYU as well, but it's out of obligation not just because someone deserves it. When Utah "upset?" beat Oregon State, Johnson got POW, but his numbers were average at best, he's the worst offensive player of the year in the history of the conference

4 total TDs, 0 turnovers, and higher yardage per throw and per run than Hall...

What's amazing is that given all of that, Hall's pass efficiency for the game was 60+ points better than Dalton's 203 in his game!

I don't think QB effiency counts running touchdowns. Which doesn't make much sense, as they are worth 6 points just like passing TDs.

Agreed, but then again, that's why they call it "pass efficiency" rating, and not quarterback efficiency.

It really was a surprise to get a glimpse of the "old" Jan though...


I think Jan's performance has a lot to do with Tialavea (Sp?) getting back to form.

Tialavea being back and Hill bringing more consistent pressure from the LB spot allowed Jan to be one-on-one a lot of the game, and he absolutely dominates most of those matchups.
