Dearth of BYU football stories

I recently complained to the DN sports editor for a dismal lack of BYU football stories. Anybody else agree? IF not for the Phil Ford story, not sure there was anything in the last month...and Ford isn't even on the team, nor is he going to be for three years.. There has been a clear dropoff from previous years when the summer reading was stocked with stories about BYU quarterbacks, receivers, runningbacks, and defensive players. I'm dying here, anybody going to feed me? Sheesh, actual football is only two months away, throw us a little meat.

I suppose there have been some recruiting noise of late. but... there is no football right now.

Good. Less off-season hype and more off-season work by the team is a good thing.

Officiated at the UofU 7on7 turny today. Saw some great football. Really enjoyed it. Hunter did well. Manti came in tied 3rd. Don't know who won it all.



BYU's camp is in two weeks. Come on down and watch some football. No blocking. 7 on 7. It is a lot of fun.

If an interview with KWhitt 5 questions where 1 question asked him to clarify his recent rivalry questions counts - D News had that today.



A dearth is to be expected in the offseason - but Utah coverage is up from previous years - more balanced now - I guess
