3 of them had the cajones (unlike Puktah) to continue their rivalries annually and therefore will only have 3 games open (Georgia, Florida & South Carolina).

Cajones in The SEC?

Yes - they maintained rivalries and I, too, commend them for doing so.

But - look at their typical schedules. 7 or 8 home games. An un-neutral or neutral site game. Lower division opponents. Never cross state lines OOC or time zones.

Cajones - short supply unless the deck is stacked.

Try to get a home and away out of 1 of those 3.

Even Ole Miss gave us 1 and done.

But hey - get home and away with Ole Miss, Vandy, Miss St. OK.

I'd take games from any of them. Better than a WAC team.

Just did a quick look at Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee's 2012 schedules (semi-random sample of traditional SEC powers). While most have only 1 tough non-conference game, the interesting thing is that all but LSU have a November non-conference game scheduled, while Auburn, Florida, and Georgia have two November non-conference games. All of the Nov opponents are cream puffs (WAC, Sun Belt, FCS) except Georgia's finale versus Georgia Tech.

I totally agree - no sarcasm was intended. We should try to get those 3 teams - home and away!
