2014 - Trey Quinn - WR

Will be junior in 2012.



From Barbe High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana.



Attracted to BYU because of what he saw in the team when BYU games were shown on ESPN.



He is a very talented athlete and is happy that BYU has been down to his school to watch him work out.

6-foot-1-inch, 190-pounds; with a 33-inch vertical leap and runs a 4.5 forty. Favorite player is Austin Collie and his perfect pass running routes.



Heading into his junior year Quinn is considered one of the top baseball players in the country. He is currently listed as the 40th best 2014 high school prospect in the nation by Perfect Game.



Quinn also runs track - the 200x and 400x2. His best time in the 200x was a 21.8. His mother, Angie, was a state champion high jumper and his dad, although a pretty good runner, enjoys weightlifting more.



Sounds a lot like KVN and Jamaal Williams with his well-rounded athletic ability and excellent track skills.

wow, I'd LOVE to get this kid at BYU. HIs acceleration is unbelievable. Any word on other schools looking at him?



How many times did he leave someone at the 10 yard line on the ground after a failed last ditch effort to tackle him?

He knows how to find a seam or crack in the defense and hit it quick. Also very elusive as he makes people miss on tackles. Finally, he can come up with the ball in traffic - secure hands.

Does he have an offer from BYU?

While attending the LSU camp, he recorded a 4.39/40 and beat Jeryl Brazil (who previously ran a 4.32 40) recorded a 4.39 40. The guy has some jets. Would like to know if he will be coming to any BYU camps.

BYU has offered him a schollie. Update is he runs a 4.39/40, 32" vertical and 4.25 shuttle. Would like to see Hill and him connect on the deep ball on a regular basis.
