Another GameDay for the MWC

The news is out: ESPN College GameDay is coming to TCU for next week's Utah game. That's three MWC games in four weeks.

Wow, that'll be two teams from the same state featured on gameday that get embarrassed during that time period as well!

All I can imagine as somehow a MWC leaning individual has somehow infiltrated the ESPN staff. I say that of course sarcastically, but how else can you explain three MWC games, two of them being opposing MWC teams, in one season? They shot to hello that pre-conceived notion we had that ESPN would only report affiliated schools.



Really, I wonder what did happen for this to have occured.

OK, where is Kiwi, and how much Bacon did you bribe the GameDay people with ?

I think Utah matches up better with TCU than we do simply because their D is more aggressive and disruptive, just as AFA was with TCU, and because that new QB the Utes are playing can chuck it down field to those speed guys Utah has. Those TCU corners can be beat if an O line can give the QB time.



Having said that, I still think TCU wins easily. TCU 2009 is the best MWC team ever imo. I think they are gunning for this game too, and will punch Utah in the mouth. I expect TCU to win it 34-9.

I think the only other MWC team that you could put up with this year's TCU (at this point) would be Utah's 2004 team. I think TCU could beat any team in the country on a neutral field, and even in Amon Carter, which is essentially the same thing.
