byucougar1It is well known that both the Big East and B12 are conducting research and evaluating studies about the benefits of adding teams that would provide value to their conferences.
One of the rumored criteria is the school's benefit or ability to launch or have their own TV network - similar to Longhorn Network. Apparently administrators are looking for expsoure of the conference by showing a number of games that could be viewed by a large fan base. Seems to me that BYU would fit into that mold as they have their own network - HD capability.
