Don't know what to think about this one. Hopefully the game against UU gets moved to Thursday as well. Playing BSU on short rest when they just played Miami (OH) is not a good deal.

This makes my prediction of a loss at BSU even more likely.

We will be 1-3 against the big 4 at best this year.

Utah - Loss

BSU - Loss

ND - Loss

GT - Win. Maybe. We will likely have things figured out by then, but not sure if that is enough to overcome an east coast trip with a preseason top 25 team.

Poke my eyes out, you made me go to the MWC website. I was not planning on a Thursday night game. I will have to check my work schedule.

Just a note here Utah is playing USU the Friday before the BYU game and Northern Colorado the Thursday before that.

The Weber State game should be moved to Thursday night. maybe they can move Wash St to Friday.

I agree with 1-3, but I think the win will come against Utah. No basis for that rationale.

If there was a year to beat BSU at Boise, this is it. Not sure we can, but there are huge question marks for BSU along the OLine the DLine QB TE and safety. They open at Michigan State so maybe some of those Q's will be answered by then. Of course we have Q's too. If we can run on BSU, I like our chances.

My rationale is this:

1. Utah's D is going to be fantastic this year.

2. O I suspect will be average with a pretty steep learning curve to start the season.

3. It is at Utah.

4. Our D is going to be very good.

5. Our O has a ton of huge question marks. Our OL is new, which could be a good thing considering how bad we were last year. Our RB's are a complete unknown. Pritchard has to be as good as advertised for this to change. Riley could be fantastic or terrible. He usually is both in the same game.

6. Bronco struggles to prepare his team for this game.

1 cancels out 4, edge to Utah. 2 and 5 are pretty even at this point. 3 and 6 give the edge to Utah in my book.

1. Utah's D is going to be fantastic, but their offense is going be anemic - like early 2011 BYU anemic.

2. Why would the O have a "pretty steep learning curve to start the season"?

3. I don't think the team will be intimidated by playing SLC. The Utes were 3-3 at home in 2011.

4. Our D is going to be very good and we'll take advantage of their anemic O.

5. Not nearly as many questions as you think. Our starting QB is back. He's a senior, he's gotten more reps than ever before. Almost all our offensive weapons are back and the ones who aren't, weren't exactly indispensible (Kariya & DiLuigi). Our RBs (Alisa & Quezada) are not complete unknowns.

2 Their OC is Brian Johnson, a rookie OC.

#2 I meant Utah's O. I should have clarified that.

#4 Agree, but I think Utah's D will take more advantage of our O than the other way around.

#5 I think Alisa is good not great. Q has potential but who knows. He spent a lot of the year injured. Pritchard needs to be healthy and as good as advertised. I have serious doubts given how significant his injury was last fall. If Pritchard is fantastic then the RB's could be great. If he isn't, then we won't be. Thus, a lot of question marks for our RB's.

-Riley can be great and terrible in the same game. I'm not convinced anything has changed there.
