Inoke Lotulelei has committed to UCLA but stated that he will attend BYU’s Junior Day - hoping for a schollie offer (possible decommit to UCLA if received).

Brandon Gurney contacted him and confirmed today that he is a BYU commit. He possibly received Q schollie.

He is a quick - elusive WR like Reno Mahe and Kaipo McGuire.

I also had visions of Mahe come to mind when I saw his highlights.

I can see that.

I don't like 5'8" WRs.

I thought he was a UCLA commit. Looks to be the same kid, so he changed over to the Y. That is a good sign even though he is 2 stars at Scout.

spiff, I'm going call this like I see it. That was a STUPID comment to make in a thread talking about a kid who just committed to BYU.



I've said it before. I'll take sure hands, heart and good routes (which is exactly what I see in this guy) over prototypical wide receiver body who is 50/50 in his receptions, fumbles, and runs lazy routes.

Agreed. But I like the Cody Hoffman and Ross Apo sized WRs better.

He will serve a mission after graduating from HS - then be available in 2015. Size isn't an impediment to our WRs success. Ben Cahoon was small but ran precise routes and had sure hands. Later on had wonderful FB career in Canada. He sees lots of promise in Enoch as did UCLA. We got a gem for WR. Welcome aboard Enoch.

Was wondering the same thing. Seems likely that there is some connection even if distant cousin.
