Defensive Pressure

I loved the defensive pressure applied by Hill. No matter who was in at QB for WYO, they had little time to do anything and were usually having to run around in the backfield. Terrific playcalling. Nice to see Jorgensen back to hi old self with a couple sacks, too (does that put him back in 1st place in the MWC at least until TCU has played their game and Hughes gets a couple more?).

I expect to see more of the same next week against the Lobos.

It's like there is a different team every week and you just don't know which one is going to show up. I'm not complaining about the show on both offense and defense, but this was a different defensive scheme than we've seen of late and it looked like what I thought was more effective and I couldn't understand after the OU game why we left it behind.

We've gotten the best defensive pressure on turf. Grass weakens our defense.

Have to agree with you Hawk, although I love the real grass.

It is amazing what pressure does to a QB, isn't it? I expect more vs. UNM and Utah too. AFA is a different animal, though, since they almost never throw it. But blitz 5 and 6 every play--I love it.
