Interesting New York Times article on Big East

Great read. Highlights mistakes made for not focusing on football. At all.



Many of these same arguments could apply to BYU 2012. So read with that in mind.

They could apply in the opposite direction that BYU did understand that football ruled and basketball druled. No matter how much they kid themselves, the Big East did not do enough to survive status quo, because of the state of affairs in football. I can't begin to imagine where all of this will take us.
