Portland vs BYU game thread

Playing pretty well so far. Would be a good time to play Harrison instead of Cusick. No Noah tonight but he's expected to be ready for next Friday. The announcers said Zylstra is only shooting 60% from the charity stripe. - That's pretty sad for a shooter. Why is it Zylstra seems to find his shot against crappy teams??

Difference in pressure between crap and good teams. Can't shoot well shen scared.

Zylstra playing the 4 at least helps hide his defensive inability. That is until he gets scored over. At least we have an option to play small when we need to with him at the 4

Austin's mid-range shot is money. Wish we could use it more. He should help soften the blow of losing Noah next year. No word on Rogers, surprised to not see him playing actually. Hopefully his injury hasn't worsened since the Gonzaga game. Not encouraging to see Rogers dressed in street clothes tonight

Hartsock and especially Rodgers will be as rusty as nails by Saturday. I hope they get to tune up on Friday - but hopefully light minutes.

Rogers played 6 minutes and then couldn't even dress two days later because of his knee. There is something more wrong with it than BYU has released. I don't think he plays again this year.

But yes, I think BYU has been less than forthcoming on injury reports. And to certain extent, they might be less than forthcoming with the injured player. These guys seem to think they can come back and play when they clearly haven't been able to.
