I remember back in the day of the Sports Illustrated Junior edition where they had some of the NBA players pics with their kids. They did one with Danny and his kids. Austin was nine years old and he was dribbling a BB around his father's legs. This would been about 1991-2. There were two other Ainge kids in the picture, but Cooper would have to have been on the drawing board at that point. It's always great to have an Ainge on the team and to have one that initially will not cost a scholie is even better.

The article said that Ainge was the only cougar to win player of the year. Didn't Jimmer do it?

I wondered the same thing.



I figured he was talking about one of the few Jimmer didn't receive. He was the POY for the most important, so I don't know. Reading that throws a whole lot of suspicion onto the author for making such a faux pas.
