2013 Roster

There has been a lot of talk in the other threads about our roster so let's lay it out as we now know it.

4/5 Davis, Austin starters plus Harwood, Sharp, CC

2/3 Haws, Rodgers starters Delgado, Winder, Zylstra and maybe Harrison

1 Carlino starter Cusick, Martineau, Ainge



That is 15 with two walkons. So Harrison goes on a mission or Martineau/CC give up a sholarship.



Perhaps Haws is rusty coming back from Russia and comes off of the bench. Team looks pretty good shape. And very few open spots left going forward a few years.

I think Martineau will lose his schollie to Delgado who will also back Carlino and Cusick at point

Haws gets back in April or May if I recall correctly. That should give him plenty of Time to get back into BBall shape.

Have no idea how good Harwood is, and right now I wouldn't put my money on CC being a world-beater. Depending on how good Harwood is and what condition CC is in I could see the starting lineup next season going two ways:



Option 1 (big line up)

5 - Austin

4 - Davies

3 - Rogers

2 - Winder

1 - Carlino



Option 2 (small ball line up)

5 - Davies

4 - Rogers

3 - Haws

2 - Winder

1 - Carlino



If we have enough big men to rotate in, it will be Option 1 with perhaps Haws starting over Winder. I like Winder's defense better, though, and without Abouo we'll need some quick hands out there.



If we don't have enough big men, we'll have to go "small" at the 4 with Rogers or Sharp dropping down so Nate can spell Davies. I kind of like this lineup as it will be a run 'n gun, lights out shooting rotation.



Haws played primarily the 3 prior to his mission. Don't really remember him playing the 2 at all. So, I think it will be between him and Rogers at the 3 with a bit of Zylstra. At the 2 it will be Winder and Delgado. At the 1, Carlino and Cusick.

Haws played the 3 because Fredette and Emery never came off the court. I expect he will get more time at the 2.

I think Haws will continue to play the 3 as we'll have Delgado, Winder, and possibly Harrison next year. That leaves us with Rogers, Zylstra, and Haws at the 3. I don't think Haws is a quick enough defender to play the 2 personally
