They won the MPSF title. Next going to Zone competition.

That takes me back! The article shows a picture of Coach Powers, who was our coach when we won the WAC championship in 1979. He's looking older! I was a rare member of two conference championship teams back then - one in 1974 and one in 1979. My mission came in there somewhere. Fun times. 8)

And now he is retiring. How does that make you feel?
