Hartsocks' knee?

Anyone got any info on Hart'ys knee injury?

Rose said wait and see how much swelling there is tomorrow. How is it that his season is not over. That looked nasty and he was crying. He has broken his nose a couple of times and you could not even tell except for the cotton in it. I think it is a miracle.

The guy is one tough midwestern Okie. Looks like he would have survived the Dustbowl Era just fine. Glad he is on our side and hope he is fine. Definitely will be critical that he can play this week if we hope to beat the Zags in Spokane. GO COUGARS!

Ice it and rest it. Was a good sign he was able to play. I just hope it wasn't adrenaline. We need him at full strength. Noah has Sacre's number.

It would be very unlikely that if there was any structural damage that Noah would have been back on the court, particularly considering how conservative they've decided to be with Rogers comeback. I think both Hartsock and Carlino have mild sprains and with 5 days rest will be good.



Noah will get a fistful of antiinflammatories, ice for a couple of days and minimal work before Gonzaga and be just fine.



The question will be about Rogers. The Gonzaga game is 5 gays away and that would put him well beyond the "couple of weeks of rest" that he was given. I hope he's available; we need him ready for the WCC tourney.

Well, I'm fairly certain about Sacre, the other 4 are up in the air. ;)

I was surprised at how they kept a camera on Noah while he's laying there and you could hear him groaning. There was no way, at that point, that I ever thought he'd be physically able to make it back into the game. When tears are coming out of your eyes, it hurts. He got up and ended up playing again. I had a feeling it was more of adrenaline than anything, but it did provide promise that it was not more than strained. With they camera shots of how that knee twisted, I'm shocked he was knocked out for the season.

I was about 20 feet away from it where it happened. I thought he was gone for sure.

I have always thought Noah was a little noodle-like, not chiseled, like say Charles. Well he has to get a nickname of Elasti-man if he makes it out of this and can play. It was almost a Joe Theisman moment watching his leg twist underneath him. How his tendons and ligaments didn't spread and pop is near miraculous. I am still holding my breath for his return.

I was astonished he was actually able to walk off the floor let alone return to the game and be effective

I was sitting in the corner by the BYU bench and watched as the Trainor and team doc ran the knee through the usual tests. It appeared that the knee was pretty solid on exam and Noah was complaining that it hurt, but he couldn't exactly pinpoint where the pain was focused, but deeper in. Didn't seem too bad once they examined it and it didn't seem to bother his pay too much. It is doubtful that he has a serious internal injury, likely a ligament strain, but you never know till he has given it some time. Hopefully he is good to go the rest of the year.

Most of these guys probably don't remember that moment, but I do. Itwas a sickening feeling.
