George Romney was initially a proponent of sending additional US soldiers to fight in the Vietnam conflict, particularly after his initial visit in 1965. He later adopted a more conservative and non-interventionist stance as outlined in the video.



While George was becoming more conservative his son was staging rallies at Stanford supporting the draft.
