He also is back to his notion of having BYU play UNLV if we get past #4 Louisville in our bracket. He seems to like us playing them. I'm surprised that UNLV got beat on the road in Laramie and didn't fall a spot in his projection.

At this point in the year I actually hope for an 11 seed. If you happen to get hot at the right time you don't have to face an elite team until the Sweet 16 potentially. Here's to staying at the same spot!

Especially if his thought pattern continued on and we were able to play in the west. That gives us a good advantage.

And we wouldnt have to play in that freakin rebel arena. Come back Dave Rice, we need you. Maybe Carlino could have another Baylor-like performance for that game!

Amen. Based on this year's overall performance, I am half-surprised to see us projected in the Tournament, but I guess I'm also jaded by the experience of having seen us receive lower than expected (i.e. hoped for) rankings.

Still has us an 11 seed with 82 out of 86 brackets including us.

As long as BYU does not lose to any team not named Gonzaga or SMC, BYU is in. We have a track record and a sequel to the Brandon Davies story of last year. We will be difficult to ignore or dismiss and will have at least 25 wins if we do not lose to anyone but Zags and Gaels.



Now - if we beat one of those guys, expect BYU fans to get excited and for us to take some buzz into the tournament.

This topic is starting to heat up now. We are 11.2 seed with 84 out of 89 including us. They range between 9 and 13.

Keeping with the theme about what 25+ wins may do for us being seeded in the tournament, BYU is one of four teams in the country that are aiming for a sixth consecutive 25-win season. The Cougars (24-7) are one victory away from that plateau. Kansas (25-5) reached that milestone Monday night. If we get two wins in the tourney, I feel that our seeding should go up towards the 9-10 range. Higher, for sure, if we win the tourney.

As of Fri morning We are 11.2 seed with 96 out of 104 including us.

As of Sat morning We are 11.1 seed with 76 out of 81 including us.

11.2 rank as of this morning and 74 of 79 brackets.
