Saint Marys's 118th - is it easier to get up for big games when they're few and far between?



Not one Pac 12 team has had a more difficult SOS than BYU



I understand why the Cougs are on the bubble. But there is hope. I could not be happier that Coach Rose has started using Winder and Harrison, because it made a huge difference in our two biggest wins of the season and it put us in a place to keep the hope for the dance.

Just win the tournament and you don't have to worry about geting in.



Also, what's your source? There are so many that they are confusing and I'm looking for the real one that the NCAA uses.

If we get Stephen Rogers healthy and our freshmen keep improving and playing, I think we will win the tournament. I would love to see our other 6'10" guy actually suit up before March too (that might be a pipe dream); however nothing is guaranteed in a 1 and done conference tourney and it appears our strength of schedule helps make an argument for why we belong as an at large; provided we take care of business the rest of the way.



Considering what BYU would get seeded in the dance, the concept of winning the NIT is somewhat appealing compared to playing a 3 seeded Florida State on the East coast (this would be our luck).

I'm sure the NIT loves the idea of a packed 23,000 seat stadium hosting a few games before New York.



I can't imagine the NIT would ever want a dinky high school stadium hosting a game; especially if no one in the country knows about or roots for the home team....

Agreed. Would love to see the young-ins get more experience to lead up into next year.

BUt I would also love to get SMC one more time in the champ game. I would give byu a 1 in 3 chance of winning, but still would be great to punk those punks.

If we win out except GU and SMC in tourney, we get in on the bubble, bc of last years bona fides and this year's respectable #'s, see above.

If we win out, including the tourney, obviously, auto-bid.

If we win-out, lose to GU, and our semi game in the WCC tourney, we go to the NIT. My guess anyway.
