Recruiting Surprises?

Most of the websites are blocked here at my work. Have there been any surprises in the recruiting game thus far? Any that we thought we would get that went elsewhere? Any that we didn't think we would get that signed with us?

BYU doesn't do Signing Day recruiting suprises. We get the guys who committed early. BYU's Signing Day is very anti-climatic.

I didn't see the LOI for Sawyer Powell.



Jay Drew says he's already enrolled. Why not on official list?

I've been in meetings, and now I can see this subject was covered in Tweets that he is enrolled at BYU, but apparently not on scholarship yet and therefore will not sign a LOI. I don't know that such an outcome was expected as he was on most of the published lists, so that seems to be the only wrinkle. I'm so glad that Brandon Fanaika went to Stanford and not the Puktah.
