Austin Grammer

I was looking on the recruiting website on ESPN and I noticed a recruit i hadnt seen there before. His name is Austin Grammer, a 2 star QB from Tuscaloosa, AL and I watched his highlights and hes a pretty good QB, decent arm, great pocket mobility and decent accuracy. Any chance we land this kid on LOI day?

Did he attend any BYU football camps? The coaches usually like to see their recruits perform in person.

I'm 99.9% sure BYU isn't going to offer any more QBs for the 2012 class. The very last need is one more Defensive lineman.

See Gurney's article in the DNews. Sounds as if we have offered 1 DT from Snow, and a high school kid out of San Jose who plays DE. Clear that the focus is on shoring up the Dline. Also clear that Thomas Bryson will not be back...

BYU has learned Alabama kids don't make it at BYU. SEC country isn't smart enough for Cougar (I mean lots of offense to feminists) country.
