How's Rogers??

He left Monday's game after hurting his knee again I believe. Any reports on how he's doing and if it was his surgically repaired knee that he injured??

Can someone describe what Roger's exact injury was. I heard meniscus tear, but what leg and was it lateral or medial meniscus? Any other injuries to any other ligaments?

He treated that nothing was torn but that he will need more PT.

Rogers' shooting ability is somewhat overrated by the fans. Even after the worst shooting night in a very long time, he is still 7th on the team in 3pt FG%.



And if you limit it to those who have played 210 minutes this year (10 min a game) he's still 6th.



I'm not sure he would have shot any better than anyone else was last night.

He's still a better defender than Zylstra and doesn't often foul a 3 point jump shooter

That was horrible, especially since that was the third time Viney has done that to us. We played shut out D and then Zylstra decides to jump into Viney. Viney wasn't even going to shoot until he saw Zylstra leave his feet.

He won't.

He may be back for the second Gonzaga game, on the road.

No new surgery. Dealing with swelling and pain is what I read. Last update did not sound like his return is still thought to be imminent like the thought was two weeks ago. And when he returns he will be rusty. He was rusty last time he returned. Do not count on any big contribution here this regular season and maybe not even tournament time.

We really need this guy back for the WCC tournament. Hopefully a couple weeks before so he can shake off the rust and get his legs back

Didn't Dave Rose just say that Rogers wouldn't be playing in the VT game and wouldn't be playing any time soon? I feel like it's still weeks away.

We'll need him even more next season. Better we not rush it.

Interesting. My one knock on Rogers early in the year was fouling on long jump shots.
