Not surpisingly - the most game ready positions for offense are: QB and WR (secondarily are the OL, RB - primarily because of loss of Reynolds and Brown; and TE - due to so many injuries to our four prospects).



On defense we are most solid at DL and LB. Question marks are at Corner - opposite Hadley (possibly Johnson) and SS ( either Sampson or Hague).

When was the last time we went into a season and DIDN'T have major ???? at DB? Happens every year.

And where are the JC DB recruits in this class. We need to get a couple each year to replace those who are graduating.

For whatever reason, that has been the best formula for BYU at corner. Wouldn't be a bad strategy to go find the two best JC corners possible each year and let them fight it out to replace the corner who is gone.



The 1996 team had 2 JC corners.

Brian Logan from 2009-10

Preston Hadley 2011-12.



FS and SS don't seem to be much of a problem for BYU to find out of high school.
