Who do you most want to see in LES?

Of all the storied teams out there that have never played at LES, who would you be the MOST excited to see make a visit to LES?



I've been thinking about this for a while now, trying to decide what teams I'd be the most excited to see, particularly teams that have never played here before. I had a hard time picking from this list.



I finally went with Ohio St.

It's got to be Florida. Just getting them to cross the Mississippi is an achievement. Getting them to come to Provo would be a miracle. The other teams on the list usually play out of conference games outside of their home state. Florida usually only plays road games in conference play.

That's true of just about every team on that list! (with Wisconsin being one exception).

IIRC Bronco and Urban Meyer are good friends.



Maybe that will spark something with Ohio St.

That's the funny thing... the guy who started the whole "Team Down South" thing can get over it, be friends with the guy, but his fans cannot...(they can't even call him by his real name)

Actually Wisconsin is one of the only ones on the list to not have an OOC road game this year.



2011 OOC road games:

Alabama at Penn State

Ohio State at Miami

Nebraska at Wyoming

Oklahoma at Florida State

North Dakota State at Minnesota

Michigan all home games

Wisconsin all home games

Florida all home games



In 2010 Wisconsin (@ UNLV) and Michigan (@Notre Dame) both had OOC road games.



The only OOC road game that Florida has had in the past 10 years is Florida State which they play every other year. The only time Florida leaves their state is for road conference games. That means the furthest west they go is Mississippi. Soon the furthest they will travel is to Texas A&M.

Took the Okies - a 1984 Barry Switzer comment of the BYWho variety drives this. Can't beat them often enough.



Ute envy would put Bama next.

Current Boss - Bring on USC



For me Nebraska, Wisconsin - boring for some reason.



Bring on Texas



One per year and only if true home and away deal.



This would have been a really good year to bring Florida.

Texas of course is/will be awesome - but they weren't included here because they've played in LES before. Excited to see them in 2013 though. Hope we have a good team that year, because they will.

Michigan. I want Michigan. Been watching them play since I was a kid, but never seen them in person.



Plus, Michigan gave Utah a 1 gamer, but would not come to RES. Coming to LES would make it nice that way too.

I chose Nebraska. It's a football program with a storied history - and I think we would have a chance to beat them. I don't think we would have a chance to beat Alabama or LSU right now. In the future yes. Actually, having ANY of those teams come the Provo would be tremendous. Great National attention.
