Do WCC Teams Up Charge for BYU??

Live outside San Diego and was going to buy tickets for the BYU USD game to take my family of 6 to the game for FHE. Tickets are $25 and $30 plus fees. Looked at all the other games at USD and Pepperdine, Santa Clara, etc. and it costs $14 and $16. Is that normal where they up charge for BYU? I have my own conspiracy theories.....



$180 for a game is kind of steep. Thank goodness for BYUTV.

Yes, they are trying to milk the BYU fanbase as much as possible.



St. Mary's charged $25 for student section seats they normally sell for something like $5.



What they don't seem to get is all our games are broadcasted on at least byutv and most mormons have easy access to byutv even if the don't get it on cable or have the internet. So, if the price is too high, we'll just stay home.

I think you are right as the amount of BYU fans at the wcc games have been a bit disappointing so far, from what I can tell.

It makes perfect sense. If BYU fans don't want to pay the extra money to go to the game, they can stay home and watch it on BYUTV. The opposing team doesn't have to deal with a gym full of BYU fan's. Seems just like the gas station that is out in the middle of nowhere and charges a higher gas price. I guess if you want it...pay for it.

I'm guessing WCC schools they could charge more since there are plenty of BYU fans in the area. Then when the WCC gave BYUtv rights to pick up the games, the BYU fans were all smart.



They realized why pay higher tickets, fight traffic/drive to the middle of nowhere, pay for guess, when you can just watch it at home.



Next year, the ticket prices may be different.
