I have to admit, if my boy were to commit to Utah, I'd probably have a lot less nice things to say about it on TV myself...

I actually felt pretty bad for the kid. That had to be a hard decision, and then Mom essentially told him on national TV it was a mistake. For me blood comes before rivalry. If my son chose to play for the :utard: instead of BYU, I'm sure I would want to :sick: , but I would still be all :love: for my son and the cameras. Then at home I would be all :sulk: and :~( , but my son would never know it.



Or maybe I would not say anything and then just sign his LOI for him since he doesn't turn 18 until later and fax it to the Y. :evil: :evil: :evil:



Oh, the pressures of parenthood.

Probably upset because now she'll have to give the car back to the LSU supporters! ;)

In all seriousness, that's kinda selfish of the Mom. Odds are, that kid's going to be buying her a new home and taking care of her a lot longer than she took care of him. Is that mean to say?

In all seriousness, that's kinda selfish of the Mom. Odds are, that kid's going to be buying her a new home and taking care of her a lot longer than she took care of him. Is that mean to say?

Nope, just what I was thinking. If he's as good as they say he is, he'll be playing in the NFL. When mom comes asking for a piece of the pie, I say the kid reminds mom of just how much she "supported" him.

It's actually Briliant! Now the New orleans folks can't hate on him too much because of his mother. Had she not done that - he'd be public enemy number 1 (or so) - now he's that goofball with the really cool mom
